Job Description
This position is an opportunity for the right candidate to professionally represent their service to the customer according to their business values. You will be accountable for accurately assessing property damage and determining claim quantum and scope of work. You will be providing memorable interactions and peace of mind for their customers, as well as providing support for repair coordinators during each claims process. Other key responsibilities will include the following:
- Conduct on site assessments of insured properties to determine damage
- Identify difference between insurance related damage and maintenance
- Create detailed and accurate assessment reports, scopes of works and quotes on covered damage
- Provide repair and technical advice on claims as required
- Work closely with the repair co-ordination team
- Engage, coordinate and manage trades to completion of repairs
- Dispute/issue resolution as required
- Maintain the clients impeccable reputation for high level customer service
- Manage a high-volume workload effectively and efficiently
- Review, assess and manage Work in Progress jobs in line with KPI targets
- Follow up trades and ensure repairs are completed to the customer's satisfaction and in accordance with company policy and procedures
- Ensure all work conforms to legislative and contractual OH&S requirements
- Travel may be required in the case of a Natural Disaster

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Tidy and professional presentation
- Be familiar with OHS practices, legislation and regulations
- Patience with a high level of knowledge in their field and an eye for detail and quality
- A positive 'can-do' work ethic and willingness to work flexible hours and change routine from time to time.
- Trade qualifications are required but client is willing to consider the right candidate
- Current Driver license with a clean driving record
