Job Description

• Responsible for the system administration and development of the Geographic Information System (GIS)
• Generate and visualise complex datasets to identify trends and patterns to form actionable strategic initiatives
• Accurately identify the needs of customers and take appropriate action to satisfy customer needs
• Configuration, maintenance, upgrade and development of GIS Software and Hardware
• Record and manage customer requests, interaction and support in Service Desk System

The Successful Applicant

• Proven experience in supporting GIS/spatial solutions and Data Management Systems
• Confident in manipulating, interpreting and translating complex datasets, simply and concisely
• Experience in spatial data collection, translation, integration, maintenance and visualisation
• Keen eye for detail and strong critical thinking ability
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience with local government related software
• Exposure to SQL Plus, Python, HTML, and JSON (highly regarded)
