Your new company
Our client is a prestigious school, and they are seeking a reliable, and highly motivated general maintenance officer to be responsible for the entire facilities management, including the upkeep and maintenance of the college’s campus. This permanent role is based in Western Suburbs of Melbourne.

Your new role
Reporting to the maintenance coordinator and working alongside an established team, you will be responsible for the college grounds & buildings. See examples of duties below:

• Preventative, reactive, and general maintenance repairs on buildings and equipment

• Proactively identify maintenance issues then rectify/ initiate remedial action
• Painting, patching and plastering works
• Traffic management for peak periods
• Non-license trade works
• Afterhours and weekend availability may be required on occasion
• Development of SWMS tasks as required

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you must be pro-active, take initiative independently and takes pride in what they do. You must be someone who has experience in a similar facilities maintenance position, ideally within a school or another large-scale environment.

You must also hold the below credentials:

• Relevant Trade Qualification (Desirable)
• Manual vehicle license
• Medium Rigid license (Preferable)

• Employee Working with Children's Check
• COVID Vaccination (3 doses)
