After eight years’ experience in the Bathurst property market, during which time he has assisted thousands of people with their buying and selling concerns, Mr Bestwick felt the time was right to take a leap of faith and go independent with One Agency Bestwick Real Estate.
“I can see with the history that I have and the marketing that I have been doing in the office that there is a window of opportunity to break out and provide the same service that I have been to owners at a lower cost to them,” he said.
For many people in Bathurst, Mr Bestwick will be a familiar face in the industry.
“I was with Elders Nicholl and Ireland for six years doing property management and as a sales consultant,” he said.
“Before then I was briefly with Peter Rogers Real Estate.”
In Bathurst alone, this experienced agent has sold over 120 homes and been involved in more than 200 successful transactions.
Before settling in Bathurst, Mr Bestwick worked in Dubbo and Canberra where he gained a great deal of knowledge about the diverse nature of the Australian
property market.
Of course, each home if different, which is why Mr Bestwick has embraced technology to show prospective buyers the full package of a home before they even step foot through the door.
“I pioneer with the video tours, which is something not many other agents in Bathurst have fully embraced,” he said.
“[Video tours ensure buyers] get more from the properties outside of business hours.”
Mr Bestwick’s new real estate venture, which will become a family-run business, will help clients looking to sell a wide range of properties in the Bathurst area.
“Initially I am going to start out by myself, but I am looking to bring my fiancee into the business at a later stage,” he said.
