The Carillon Junior Theatrical Society show will feature 48 children aged from just five years old up to 15 years.
Show producer and director Bronni Colley said the production has given all the children involved the opportunity to learn.
“They’ve embraced all elements of the stage like acting, movement, singing, lighting, design and props,” she said.
Main cast roles have gone to Ruby Shannon, 11, (who will play Ariel); Ruben Martin-Clark, 11, (Prince Eric); Brodie Wolfe, 10, (Flounder); Bayden Wolfe, 13, (Scuttle); Seth Brown, 13, (Sebastian) and Polly Taylor, 11, (Ursula).
Disney Little Mermaid Junior will have two performances at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre on Sunday, November 27 at noon and 3.30pm.
There will also be two schools-only performances the following day.
