The Scots School has announced that from 2017 it will offer a reduction in its tuition fees by an average of 30 per cent.
Scots headmaster David Gates said the decision had come about after careful consideration.
“The school is strategically positioning itself in the educational landscape of the Central West,” he said.
“The fee restructure was possible due to many years of outstanding financial management and the fact that the school is free of debt.”
Mr Gates said the fee restructure allows the school to provide “quality education at a level more affordable to a greater range of families”.
“The school will continue to offer the range of learning and co-curricular opportunities that make us unique,” he said.
“I am excited by the possibilities of future development that this fee restructure brings.”
The school has had a number of upgrades and new facilities built in recent years.
