CEO Hamish Keith said people will be familiar with the garden’s autumn and spring festivals, where the private garden is open to explore, but the newest addition to the calendar will showcase more of the flora available.
He said some of the highlights include the water lilies, the one-acre rose garden and family-friendly activities.
“We’ve got interactive games in the gardens now, so we have chess with pieces the size of children, croquet and bocce,” Mr Keith said.
People will also be able to row boats on Mayfield Lake.
Mayfield Garden has partnered with the famous Lolly Bug, which will bring a wide selection of sweet treats to the garden on the weekends of the festival.
The summer festival will run from January 14 to January 29.
Mayfield Garden is open from 9am to 4.30pm seven days a week.
