The duo, from music group Smith and Jones, launched their debut album Dark Gives Way to 300 people at Bathurst Airport’s hangar one on Friday night.
“We are still pretty speechless. All we can say is thank you. Thank you to all 300 of you who came out to help us launch Dark Gives Way,” the duo said.
“We've been walking around in a daze all day today [Saturday] asking ourselves, ‘Did that even happen last night? Was that real?’.
“Thank you for the standing ovation. Thank you for loving us so much. Words can't describe how you made us feel last night.”
Smith and Jones held a number of pre-launch gigs for their 12-track album at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in January, and they have a busy tour schedule coming up.
All we can say is thank you. Thank you to all 300 of you who came out to help us launch Dark Gives Way.

“We will be doing launches in Sydney, Molong, Cowra and Orange over the next month or so,” Ms Jones said.
“This weekend we will be launching it in Sydney, it’s actually a shared album launch with The Sweet Jelly Rolls at The Hideaway Bar in Enmore.”
Dark Gives Way is available to purchase from iTunes, or in Bathurst from The Hub and BooksPlus.
