Bathurst Poets invites the community to an evening of poetry from 6-8pm in the Wattle Foyer at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre. Tickets: $10 from BooksPlus (includes nibbles). Enjoy a night of poetry and some music and frivolity. Join in with blackboard entry to perform your poetry or someone else’s or enjoy listening to local poets reading from their work.
Mothers and Daughters is a three-week course to help mothers and daughters understand and deal with the changes that take place during puberty and adolescence. It will be held on March 15, 22 and 29 at Central West Women’s Health Centre at 20 William Street from 5.30pm-7.30pm. A light supper will be provided. Cost: $80 per pair, concessions $50. Monthly Muster show and tell evening will be held in the Uniting Church Activities Hall (between the church and the 1837 Hall) at 7.30pm in William Street, opposite Machattie Park. Bring along one or two of your treasured items and talk for a minute on each item. With Bathurst having marked 200 years the year before last, there is certainly renewed interest in those items sitting in people’s cupboards or sheds. It could be a trophy, personal item or something that relates to an organisation or Bathurst’s past.

Bathurst Family History Group will meet in the Bathurst Library meeting room at 2pm for a general meeting, to be followed by guest speakers Dr Perry MacIntyre and Leonie Blair.
