Birdlife Australia’s Woodland Birds for Biodiversity project co-ordinator Mick Roderick will present the workshop at the Royal Hotel at Hartley, near Lithgow.
“You will learn the basics of woodland bird identification, how to recognise different bird calls, how to record calls and how to do bird surveys on your smartphone,” he said.
The workshop will be held on Thursday, May 4 and participants need to register by Monday, May 1.
