Rain has been elusive
The city has recorded only an official 7.8 millimetres so far in April, in a month in which an average of 41mm is usually received, and there is nothing significant on the horizon.
Bathurst’s best chance to add to the April total will be on Tuesday, according to the short-term forecast, but only a few millimetres are predicted.
Orange has had 10.6mm for the month.
