As his team-mate Paul Morris watched on from the pits, Searle hunted down leader and defending champion Chaz Mostert to claim the biggest win of his career.
He was doing 247km/hr when he pulled off the decisive move.
He completed 113 laps of the iconic circuit in his BMW M136i, finishing 9.6 seconds clear of the Ford Focus Mostert shared with Nathan Morcom.
Third place went to Ryan Simpson and Jim Pollicina in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo.
