Held at The Tarana Hotel, the annual event attracted 40 dogs with all funds raised to go to the Westmead Hospital’s Kidney Research Centre.
Mr Moore said his daughter was being treated at the centre, and the day has held in her honour.
“We got a good crowd here very early in the day which was good,” he said.
“People like to come and support the charity and it’s a really laid-back day and it’s full of families.”
Dogs and their handlers were able to compete in four categories – local, encourage, novice and open.
One of the trial day’s hottest items was a ticket in the raffle which had a major prize of five cartons of beer.
