A game of basketball and a sausage sizzle was also a part of the day for the Kelso community, who helped give the hub a fresh coat of paint.
A Bathurst Regional Council representative said the day provided a chance for young people to get engaged and involved in a safe place.
“The Bunnings partnership is a collaboration approach to develop some programs for young people, as part of the walk-in Wednesday program which runs at the Kelso Community Hub,” they said.
The freshly painted hub will provide an appropriate place for members of the community to make artwork.
Members of the Raglan Rural Fire Brigade were also on hand to lend a helping hand to painters and to play with keen basketballers.
