“We invite all charity organisations in Bathurst which consider they may have a project which provides an important community purpose and benefit to apply for a grant from the foundation, which is one of the largest in regional NSW,” charitable foundation executive officer Graham Batten said.
“Our mission is to give back to our local communities by supporting projects that have a profound impact on the lives of people in need.
“Over the previous financial year, the charitable foundation donated $1.7 million to valuable community-focused initiatives – including PCYC and The Shepherd Centre.”
Mr Batten said the foundation had supported a number of “worthy community programs in Bathurst and we look forward to assisting with many more”.
The foundation was established in 2003.
