When we called for photos for an upcoming spread in the Advocate earlier this month, we received some stunning submissions.
Fran Mosley was among them, and submitted a number of photos from her recent visit to Mayfield Gardens.
“The colours are just stunning at the moment,” she said.
While Bernadette Wood submitted photos of the Chinese pistachio trees in Centennial Park.
Bathurst has had a warmer than usual start to autumn this year, with average maximum temperatures in March and April around one degree higher than long term medians.
However, while the mercury fell to an overnight low of 2.5 degrees earlier this month, it was a long was off the coldest April temperature ever recorded of -5.0 on April 23, 2006.
