SO far this women’s Premier League Hockey season no team has been able to better Bathurst City and that is exactly how the competition leaders want it to stay this Saturday.

After six rounds City sits six points clear of nearest rivals Lithgow Panthers, a draw against Ex-Services a fortnight ago the only time the Lisa Quinn coached outfit has not snared maximum points.
Parkes is the only side in the competition City has yet to play this season, so Saturday’s meeting between the pair is a chance for the Bathurst side to enhance its claim as the 2017 title favourite.
Though Parkes does pose a bigger threat than its winless record suggests – its speed in attack a noted strength – City is still a hot favourite for the contest.
City has conceded on average just one goal a game, while a host of players have contributed to the side’s tally of 22 successful strikes. Saturday’s match at Bob Roach Field starts at 1pm.
