Bathurst is emerging from one of the coldest winters on record with a run of above-average temperatures over the next week.
The mercury will start climbing on Sunday with a forecast top of 17 degrees Celsius, 5.2 degrees above the long-term average August maximum of 13.8 degrees.
It will be even warmer on Monday with a forecast top of 19 before an anticipated maximum of 22 on Tuesday is forecast to provide an early taste of spring.
There is a chance of showers next Tuesday and Wednesday.
