Police were called following reports of a crash on Lake Cargelligo Road, Ungarie, 40km north-west of West Wyalong, about 5.15am.
Officers from Griffith Local Area Command attended and found a Toyota Hilux had crashed at the location.
Emergency services attended but a 19-year-old woman who had been travelling as a rear-seat passenger died at the scene.
The front-seat passenger, a 23-year-old man, was taken to West Wyalong Hospital before being airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition.
A 23-year-old man, who had been driving the car, and a 22-year-old man, who had been travelling as a rear-seat passenger, were both taken to West Wyalong Hospital before being taken to Orange Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Inquiries are continuing into the crash.
This morning’s crash was the third fatality during a horror week on Central West roads.
A 49-year-old woman died after her sedan hit a truck on the Mitchell Highway West of Bathurst on Tuesday and a 29-year-old man died in a single vehicle crash on the Lachlan Valley Road near Canowindra on Friday.
