On Friday, Harold Colley, Ian Hooper and Jeremy Kensit are holding a fundraiser for the Daffodil Cottage wig library and have invited the community to come along.
And, long-time sheep shearer Mr Colley has volunteered his shears to cut their hair on the night.
“The three of us have a number of special friends who have passed away from cancer and when asked to participate in this event we all said yes,” he said.
The event was first held in 2015 with just two people having their hair sheared off, last year 10 people took part and Mr Colley is hopeful this year there will be even more.
Head shaves on the night are a $50 donation, and raffles will also be held.
Mr Hooper said the wig library was a great local cause to throw their support behind.
“You don’t really realise how important things like wigs are when you’re sick [with cancer],” he said.
The fundraiser is at Paddy’s Hotel this Friday at 6pm.
