The club set out with a goal of raising $5000, which would go towards redeveloping one of the activity spaces to incorporate a functional fitness and obstacle course event training centre.
Six ‘inmates’ served time in the club’s jail cell on Super Wednesday last week and manged to reach the goal.
On top of that, the Bathurst club came in fourth across the state for fundraising for Time 4 Kids events.
The club has thanked the inmates and the community for their generosity.
