What herb have you used in your herb bread, man?

A 63-YEAR-OLD Wellington man has been charged with possession of a prohibited drug after police found cannabis in his esky during a vehicle search in Bathurst.

Highway Patrol officers stopped a gold Commodore on the Mitchell Highway about 11.30pm last Saturday for the driver to undergo a random breath and drug test.

During the vehicle stop, police became suspicious and searched the vehicle, finding what looked to be a loaf of garlic bread in an esky.

After inspecting further, though, they found it was a quantity of cannabis in a vacuum-sealed bag wrapped as a loaf of garlic bread.

The male driver failed a drug test and was arrested.

He was charged with possession of a prohibited drug and released on bail.

The “herb bread” was seized and weighed six ounces (180 grams).
