BATHURST police are again warning motorists to lock their vehicles while unattended following a recent spate of reports of motor vehicles being broken into and items being stolen.

The incidents occurred in the Bathurst and Kelso areas over the past few days.
Officers are appealing to the public to secure their vehicles when unattended after several vehicles were left unlocked.
They are also asking that items of value not be left in plain sight and if possible removed from their vehicles.
The public is also urged to report anyone acting suspiciously around parked vehicles and car parking areas.
Police are investigating the reports received and anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
