Around 40 students from Year 7 right through to Year 11 have been rehearsing the show since the beginning of term two.
There are 30 of them making up the cast of characters, and a further 10 to 15 students working behind the scenes.
Head teacher of Creative Arts Cassandra Burt said those working behind the scenes were students studying entertainment industries, who had to complete 72 hours of work experience for the subject.
“We do these productions so they have those opportunities,” she said.
Ms Burt said this production will see Alice in a “swinging 60s” setting and follows the Pioneer Theatrical Company version of the story.
A lot of work has gone into the sets and costumes to make sure this is a quality production.
“We will certainly have all the bells and whistles of a professional production,” Ms Burt said.
Members of the public can attend shows on Thursday and Saturday night, which start at 6.30pm in the school’s theatre.
Entry is only a gold coin donation.
