A 50-YEAR-OLD woman was airlifted to Orange Hospital on Sunday night after being kicked in the chest by a horse.

Paramedics and the Toll NSW Ambulance rescue helicopter were called to the property on Carlwood Road, Tarana, just after 8pm.
The woman suffered swelling, shortness of breath and pain after being kicked by the horse.
She was airlifted to Orange Hospital for medical treatment.

BATHURST police have received more reports of items being stolen from unattended motor vehicles.
The incidents in Bathurst and Kelso over recent days have again prompted a call from police for motorists to always secure their motor vehicles when unattended and to not leave valuables in plain sight.
The public is also urged to report anyone acting suspiciously around parked vehicles and car park areas.
