The alcohol-free, family-friendly event will be hosted by Bathurst Regional Council and is on from 5-9pm.
Mayor Graeme Hanger said the first-time event would bring the excitement of Christmas to the centre of Bathurst.
“This is an opportunity for the whole family to enjoy an evening out and get into the festive spirit, and to celebrate the season together as community,” he said.
Music, markets and food stalls will feature in Kings Parade, along with a giant Christmas tree.
There will be a variety of entertainment for children including a jumping castle, face painting and a visit from Santa.
