Ronnie is a lifelong resident of Bathurst, so he knows the area and the people of the district extremely well. He has been a presenter at 2MCE since the late 1970s, and has been the Sunday morning music presenter for more than twenty years.
The music that Ronnie plays extends from the smooth sounds of contemporary hits, through country music, and favourites dating back to the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
It’s a great way to spend Sunday mornings, maybe with a cup of coffee or over brunch, “Ronnie Mac’s Music” between 9am and midday.
Hear from Alan
ANOTHER of 2MCE’s presenters is Alan Taylor.
Not a lifelong resident of the district like Ronnie Mac, Alan moved to Bathurst five years ago from the lower Blue Mountains.
He presents our Wednesday breakfast show from 7am to 9am, and the well-researched “Rockpile” program every second Saturday morning between 9am and midday.
Christmas raffle
2MCE’s annual business raffle is now on, with the opportunity for local businesses to win various sponsorship (advertising) packages.
First prize in the business raffle is a one year advertising package on 2MCE, with five 30 second spots every day for a year [value $12,000]. Second prize is a six month package of five 30 second commercials each day [$6000] and third prize is a similar package over three months [$3000].
There are only 100 tickets in the business raffle at $55 each, or three for $150. And the best part about buying three tickets is that the business also picks up one 30 second commercial each day for the entire year, making them a winner straight away.
The business raffle will be drawn live on air on Thursday, December 21 between 9am and 10am.
Tickets in this year’s 2MCE business raffle can be obtained by phoning the station on (02) 6338 4790 during office hours.
