Bedwells Feed Barn, which has been associated with the Tremain’s Mill site on Keppel Street since 1985, has relocated to the former Devro factory site on Vale Road.
Bedwells owner Chris Frisby said the move out of the city centre had been beneficial.
“We are able to have more stock, a drive through, and we can concentrate more on the saddlery,” he said.
Due to how well the site partners with the business, it is possible the former Devro site will be Bedwells Feed Barn’s home for many years.
“I hope we stay out here for a long time as it is a great site,” Mr Frisby said.
The Tremain’s Mill site was bought by new owners in May 2015 and they have plans for the sprawling grounds that include a function centre, flour milling museum and micro-brewery.
“I would like to thank all of the customers, and the family and friends who helped with the move,” Mr Frisby said.
