Homes left in darkness
HUNDREDS of Bathurst region residents remained in the dark on Tuesday morning after a thunderstorm swept through the region overnight.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) issued a warning just after 3pm on Monday for wild winds and heavy rain fell overnight.
As of 7.30am on Tuesday, 352 properties remain without power, including: Mount David (98), Perthville (7), Rock Forest (13), Newbridge (4), Rockley (2) and Millthorpe (228).
Data from the BOM shows 15.8 millimetres of rain has been recorded at Bathurst Airport overnight.
Despite ongoing rain across the region, there is currently no weather warnings in place.
