THE Bathurst 12 Hour has arrived and Mount Panorama is alive with excitement as the teams and fans arrive.
In recent years, the event has experienced amazing growth to see it become one of the most significant GT races in the world.
After the introduction of the Intercontinental GT Challenge in 2016, the Bathurst 12 Hour has served as the opening round to the series.
With so much at stake for some of the teams, they have come to Bathurst with their A Game.
The Bathurst 12 Hour was launched on Thursday, February 1, with a photo shoot of the top competing cars in pit lane ahead of the first day of action on Friday.
Saturday sees support races, practices and qualifying held before the top 10 shootout in the afternoon, which determines positions on the grid for Sunday’s endurance race.
Western Advocate journalists and photographers are bringing you coverage from the mount.
