Macquarie Male Singers: Assumption School Hall, every Tuesday at 7.30pm.
Originally formed in 1994 and meeting every Tuesday, the renowned Macquarie Male Singers have performed at several important venues over the years, including Parliament House, the ABC studios in Sydney and at concerts in Bathurst, Mudgee, Canowindra, Blayney and Cowra. Vox Chamber Choir: Mitchell Conservatorium, Thursday, February 15 at 6pm–7pm.
If you love to sing, Mitchell Conservatorium is starting a new chamber choir this term. VOX is an extension of Mitchell Young Voices, and a vehicle for some exciting, largely a cappella, choral adventures. This wonderful opportunity to learn Australian music and contemporary songs is suitable for ages 15 and over. Casey McRarlane: Family Hotel Friday, February 16 at 9.30pm.
It’s Friday! Why not relax and start your weekend with Casey McFarlane as he sings up a storm at the Family Hotel. You know him and you love him so come along and be entertained as Casey plays popular country and rock and roll covers as well as original compositions. 1858 Dining at Family Hotel is open from 5.30pm–9pm.
Abba-solutely Fabulous: Panthers Bathurst, Saturday, February 17 at 8pm.
Rhonda Burchmore and Lara Mulcahy present their hilarious new concert, ABBA-SOLUTELY FABULOUS! They’ll have you dancing in the aisles as they sing their way through ABBA’s hits. Tickets are $45. Doors open at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8pm. For tickets call 6330 0600.
The Songs of James Taylor and Carole King: Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre Saturday, February 17 at 8pm.
Experience a night of timeless songs that formed the soundtrack of a generation. Classic hits such as Fire and Rain and I Feel the Earth Move are interspersed with 70s hits such as Summer Breeze. Timeless songs with a seven piece band and immaculate harmonies.
