As part of the water cycle, run-off from rain goes downhill and forms part of a river system.
Councillor Bobby Bourke (“Safety’s a threat during storms”, Western Advocate, March 7) is perfectly positioned to uncover why our council gave permission for Leo Grant Drive, a residential subdivision, to be approved smack-bang on the edge of the Macquarie floodplain.
Call it a waterway, call it a creek. Water will want to flow into, over and through Leo Grant Drive for many years to come.
