Brian McGrath and John Judge will talk about the history of the Oddfellows Hall in Keppel Street at the next Bathurst District Historical Society Monthly Muster. The Monthly Muster talks are held in the Uniting Church Activities Hall opposite Machattie Park. Musters are open to the public, with a 7.30pm start. Holy Trinity Kelso Market Day will be held in the Parish and Community Hall at 81 Gilmour Street, Kelso from 9am until 1pm. There will be home-made cakes, garden plants, second-hand books, a white elephant stall, bargains for blokes, arts and crafts, pick-a-leaf, pre-loved clothing, jewellery, a chocolate wheel, barbecue and coffee and refreshments.
Sunday, March 18
Lend your green thumb and helping hand at a community tree planting day. Native trees, shrubs and grasses will be planted along the riverbank to improve the health of the Macquarie River. It will be held from 9am until lunch at Rankens Bridge Park, Eglinton Road, Abercrombie.
