This year the stage will feature a very diverse range of performances, from school jazz bands to musical theatre, rock bands to singer-songwriters, and this year even dancing will be back on the show stage.
You can look forward to showcase acts including the Carillon Theatrical Society who will be performing to promote their upcoming show WICKED.
Other arts groups taking to the stage include Pure Imagination School of Performing Arts who will be showcasing their dance students, and local jazz band 'Wing It' who are directed by Chris Dove.
Over one-hundred performers will take the stage over the course of the three days including school groups from All Saints College, Mackillop College, Cathedral School and St. Stanislaus College.
Bathurst Academy of Music have been proud supporters of the community stage for the past three years, and look forward to providing a number of students from the Academy including Zoe Bunyan, Belle Whitwell, Lily Morgillo, Findlay Webb, Tiarn Brown, Olive Watch and also local emerging bands including Cheviot Drive, Crimson Royal and Young & Menace.
This year, Bathurst Academy of Music student, Tiran Brown will sing the national anthem. Tiarn is a well-rounded vocalist and piano player who recently supported Travis Collins and Amber Lawrence on their 'Our Backyard' tour.
Tiarn will perform her own solo set on the community stage on Saturday 14th April at 1pm, and will take the arena at 3:15pm to lead the national anthem.
The Bathurst Community stage will have a jam-packed schedule with something for everybody - young and old. Everyone attending the show is encouraged to pay the community stage a visit. It is a great place to stop off, rest your feet, and watch some fantastic local entertainment.
