The Royal Bathurst Show always offers a great weekend full of fun and thrills. The show’s official opening is at 3.45pm on Saturday and will be followed by the Grand Parade at 4.15pm, and there will be plenty of attractions across the whole weekend to the crowds entertained. From horse jumping and shearing to motor-cross and bull riding, there is something for everyone young and old.

The Xtreme Fireworks are back once again on Friday and Saturday night. There will be a stunning and explosive display at 8.30pm on both nights which is a fantastic way to end a great day out at the show. The fireworks on Saturday night promise to be bigger and better than ever so make sure you don’t miss them.
Those looking for more traditional displays will have an wide range of events to choose from such as yard dog trials, wood chopping, horse events including dressage and show jumping, shearing demonstrations and competitions, along with the Young Farmers Challenge.
The challenge sees teams compete in a variety of physical, rural themed events including building fences, extinguishing fires, setting up swags and carting hay bales. There is also the added element of a knowledge test which has contestants having to correctly identify types of meat and their cut.
The action goes picks up with the the Royal Bathurst Show Bullride which makes it’s return to Sunday afternoon. It always brings out the best in the riders brave enough to climb aboard as they compete for cash, ribbons and the revered Royal Bathurst Show Bullride Buckles, and of course bragging rights.
If bull riding isn’t tough enough for you there is always the DMax Utes. Australia's premier precision driving team are back again and ready to show off their jaw dropping skills. This will be the eighth year that team DMax have performed at the Royal Bathurst Show with the unbelievably skilled stunt driving team thrilling Australian crowds for over 50 years.
The display has once again been sponsored by Clancy Motors and Friday night’s performance will feature a huge range of stunts including formation driving, reverse flick turns, hi-speed crossovers, two wheel driving and massive 12 metre ramp-to-ramp jumps.
The motors will keep roaring everyday as the ShowTime FMX Freestyle Moto X team perform their awe inspiring tricks for the crowd. They are now a regular feature at the Royal Bathurst Show and never fail to impress. They are one of the most spectacular & experienced freestyle Moto X acts in the country so make sure you get your seat in the grandstand in time to witness the amazing show.
