Recently clients have enjoyed lunch outings, shopping outings and local drives.
There are also many other choices including cooking, arts and crafts, Men’s Shed games (including pool and darts), health and exercise plus lots more.
The carers haven’t been forgotten and the centre holds a Bathurst Seymour Centre Carers Support Group meeting each month for carers of older people.
This group enjoys getting together for support, information and education and sharing refreshments.
It is a great break for people who have the responsibility of caring for others and a chance to talk to others in the same situation.
The Seymour Centre always welcome new clients and carers.
Call them on 63321449 or drop in at 55 Seymour Centre. Staff can show you around and share a cuppa while you are there.
