The trio of Nick North, Richard Hobson and Mark Windsor broke clear of the field to fill out the podium in A Grade.
North has been putting in a lot of work on his cycling in the build up towards both the B2B and the Grafton to Inverell Cycling Classic. It showed in his decisive dash to the finish.
Hobson continued his recovery from a series of falls to finish second in the sprint.
Windsor was happy with his podium on Sunday after coming off a long and intense triathlon season.
There was more exciting racing in B Grade with Julian Wood defeating Tony Barlow and Luke Gilmer.
Promising Junior Ben Anderson broke clear late in the race and looked set to win.
However a desperate chase resulted in the field coming back together for a sprint to the finish.
Ian Glen attacked first before Scott James tried to jump clear.
Unfortunately for them their attacks set up Luke Gilmer for a well-timed launch towards the finish, with the sprinters Wood and Barlow just catching Gilmer on the line.
Reece Anderson Lavis and the very impressive Kalinda Robinson were just behind the major placings.
Mick Foran won the battle for C Grade victory and Rosemary Hastings was the champion in D Grade.
