SHOWBAGS are a highlight for many people and often it doesn’t matter whether they are full of lollies, chocolates or toys

Harry Jones, 6, from Orange was keen to show off the goodies in his newly-purchased Despicable Me showbag to the Western Advocate.

Accompanied by his family, he showed off each individual item in his showbag before finally declaring that the best bit was a Despicable Me backpack.

The Reliance Bank Royal Bathurst Show continues until 10pm on Saturday night with a fireworks spectacular to light up the night sky at 8.30pm.

Also on Saturday evening is Sam Power and the Jaws of Death in the main arena at 8.10pm.

Gates will open again for the final day of the 2018 show on Sunday with opening hours form 10am until 4pm.
