A FLYPAST by a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) C-130J Hercules will form part of an Anzac commemoration service in Trunkey Creek on Saturday.

The Hercules will fly over the service at Tom Howard Memorial Park at 11.30am at an altitude of 75 metres.
The Anzac service at Trunkey Creek will be held from 11:30am until midday. It will be an opportunity for participants to reflect on the contribution made by all of our past and present service personnel who have displayed great courage, discipline and self-sacrifice in choosing a life of service to their country.
About 2300 Australian Defence Force members are currently deployed on operations, upholding the Anzac spirit whilst serving Australia's national interests overseas.
The Hercules conducting the flypast of Trunkey Creek is from No. 37 Squadron at RAAF Base Richmond in Sydney’s northwest.
The Air Force currently has a detachment of two C-130J Hercules deployed in the Middle East Region, supporting Australian Defence Force throughout the theatre.
While the C-130J was introduced to RAAF service in 1999, generations of Defence personnel have operated and supported different models of the Hercules since December 1958.
