There will be a free sausage sizzle and ice cream available, as people watch these classic cars go under the hammer.
Funny tourist video is a hit
It might just be the funniest Bathurst tourism video ever produced – and it didn’t cost ratepayers a cent.
Bathurst TAFE student Arwa Merchant has created a three-minute love letter to her hometown – highlighting just about everything we would rather forget.
And it has become something of a local internet sensation.
Ms Merchant was born and raised in Bathurst and after a few months living in Newcastle,m has returned home to study a Diploma in Screen and Media.
“The assignment was to do a comedy sketch so I chose to do a parody advertisement for Bathurst, as it’s something a lot of people in Bathurst would understand,” Ms Merchant said.
“We usually have a screening at the end of the year for all of our student films for the public and we will be showing this film there as well.”
