THE race caller labelled it a “copy book drive” and it was hard to argue otherwise as Amanda Turnbull drove Our Wall Street Wolf to victory in the Diggers Cup (2,060 metres) at Forbes on Wednesday.

The feature race of the Anzac Day meeting saw Turnbull find the trail early with the four-year-old she drove for Bathurst trainer Chris Frisby.
There she waited patiently before working Our Wall Street into the clear with some 400m to go. From there he went on post a comfortable victory as a $2.80 chance.
Our Wall Street Wolf won by 6.5m over Karinya Mully ($4, Amy Rees) with Sunscreen ($22.50, Tom Pay) a further 10.9m back in third.
“Copy book drive there by Amanda Turnbull, she was able to get it off the inside into that trailing spot under the 400 point,” the race caller said.
It was the second win in 10 starts this season for the McArdle x Salina Cruz gelding, who rated 1:59.1.
That was not the only success at Forbes for Turnbull, who snagged a winning treble.
She also steered two members of her own team to success, with Ellmers Image ($1.80) saluting in the Pud Woods Memorial and Our Positano ($2.40 favourite) winning the Clarrie and Val Robb Memorial.
Nathan Turnbull (Freddy Funk), Jason Turnbull (Walk On Kimmy) and Bernie Hewitt (Cobbity Chic) also drove winners.
