Up to 300 junior players took part in the skills and drills session, before they had a chance to meet their rugby league idols for an autograph session.
Panthers are set to play in Bathurst on Friday night, the fifth game the club has brought to the city in as many years.
Club captain Peter Wallace said the city is now like a second home for the club.
“We’ve got a strong connection with Bathurst, so it’s good to come out here once a year,” he said.
“We spend the week here too. Everyone is really nice and welcoming. It’s always a good trip.”
Wallace said it’s always a great time to come out regional areas and that it’s something the club has been looking forward to.
He’s also keen to interact with juniors and fans in the lead up to the game, with a gala day at St Pat’s on Wednesday, from midday to 1pm, and a meet and greet with fans at Bathurst Panthers after the game on Friday at 11pm.
Come game day on Friday, Panthers will take on a North Queensland Cowboys side looking to find some much-needed form.
“Cowboys have class all over the field, so we’re expecting them to bounce back after a disappointing game last week,” Wallace said.
Kick-off for Friday night’s game is 7.55pm at Carrington Park.
