Officers from Chifley Police District have been investigating a spate of recent steal from motor vehicle offences occurring in the Bathurst area.
Shortly before 7am on Friday, officers from Chifley Police District executed a search warrant at a home on Patterson Place, Kelso.
During the search, police seized several items, including mobile phones, tools, cleaning equipment, and camera, and other items allegedly stolen in recent steal from motor vehicles and break, enter and steal incidents.
A 31-year-old man was arrested and taken to Bathurst Police Station.
He was charged with contravene prohibition of apprehended violence order, and goods in personal custody suspected of being stolen.
He was refused bail to appear in Bathurst Local Court on Friday.
Inquiries continue, and police encourage those who have not yet reported similar incidents to come forward.
Further arrests are expected to be made.
