More than 500 of the finest birds including canaries, budgies, finches and parrots expected to be included.
“Entries don’t close until Thursday … there’s always some sort of exotic entries,” Bathurst Bird Club president Tim Pickstone said.
“You probably won’t see this these birds in a pet shop, they’re some of the best examples in the state.”
Mr Pickstone said Sunday’s event was a great opportunity to look at a wide range of birds, speak to the experts and breeders, or purchase a new pet.
The show and sale is on from 9am until noon in the hall located in the Mount Panorama camping area behind the Pit Lane complex.
