Cosi explores mental illness, politics, love and sex and freedom, begging the question – what is normal?
It is 1971 and Lewis (Gareth Thompson), a university graduate, is directing his first production at a mental institution in Melbourne.
Faced with the challenge of bringing Mozart’s opera Cosi Fan Tutte to life, he must work with a group of extraordinary characters under unexpected circumstances.
Cosi will be performed by third-year theatre/media students from the School of Communication and Creative Industries at CSU.
It is directed by Dr Kate Smith, alongside third year students Sophie Fitzgerald and Madeline Whittaker. Tickets are $10-$15.

Two opera stars live in concert
TWO of the biggest names in Australian opera, David Hobson and Marina Prior, will perform live in concert together at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre at 8pm on Friday.
The tenor and soprano powerhouse legends are embarking on a 40-date national tour of their own show The 2 Of Us.
Accompanied by renowned pianist David Cameron in an intimate two-hour performance, Marina and David will perform their classics from productions such as The Phantom of The Opera, Les Miserables, West Side Story and La Boheme, as well as favourites from their award-winning albums.
