TJ Henderson has taken out the People's Choice Award in the Bathurst Regional Council Waste 2 Art competition.

TJ’s winning artwork was a newspaper frog that consisted of 72 newspapers made up of 520 pieces.
He has been awarded a painting by Bathurst artist Dean Mobbs for taking out the popular vote.
Waste 2 Art was on display at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre from April 28 to May 13.
This year’s other winners were:

- Community 2 Dimensional: Turning a Blind Eye by Karin Smith.
- Community 3 Dimensional: LILIOSIS SCOLIOSIS by Georgina and Lloyd Cleaver.
- Community Functional: Irukandji Styrojelly by Julie Lucato.
- Open 2 Dimensional: Regeneration by Tania Cowgill.
- Open 3 Dimensional: Life is Like a Box of Chocolates... by Fiona Howle.
- Open Functional: Chess Set by Fiona Howle.
- Curator's Award: Gwen and Ben Garden by The Widdon Group.
- Theme Award: Irukandji Styrojelly by Julie Lucato.
