Grant Denyer is one of six nominations for the coveted Gold Logie, presented to the most popular performer on Australian television.
It is his third nomination for the Gold Logie and comes just weeks after Network Ten announced it would be cancelling Family Feud, the game show Denyer has hosted since 2014.
He will face off against Love Child and The Wrong Girl star Jessica Marais, The Living Room host Amanda Keller, Rodger Corser from Doctor Doctor, Love It Or List It and Selling Houses Australia host Andrew Winter along with A Current Affair presenter Tracy Grimshaw to take home the gold statue.
Denyer is also a finalist in the Most Popular presenter category for his work on Family Feud and All Star Family Feud.
Family Feud is a finalist in the Most Popular Entertainment Program category while Network Ten’s coverage of the 2017 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 is again in the running to take out the Logie for the Most Outstanding Sports Coverage.
The Logies, which will be held on the Gold Coast for the first time this year, take place on July 1 when a who’s who of television will converge on Queensland’s glitter strip for TV’s biggest night.
And in another departure from past shows, public voting for the awards will reopen on June 25 and remain open right up until the end of the red carpet broadcast on July 1.
