A MAN accused of an armed robbery remains behind bars after charges against him were mentioned briefly in the Bathurst Local Court last week.

Lawrence Trindall, 26, is facing charges of robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon and larceny.
He did not apply for bail when he appeared before visiting magistrate Alexander Mijovich on May 21.
Bail was formally refused by the magistrate.
Trindall was arrested by police earlier this year after a pharmacy in the city's CBD was allegedly held up at knifepoint.
Police allege Trindall held a steak knife against a pharmacist’s ribs in an armed robbery which occurred in broad daylight on Sunday, March 25.
Tindall was arrested by police without incident in the following days at a home in Greville Street, Kelso.
Police instigated a manhunt across the city following the brazen armed robbery where it is alleged Trindall entered a pharmacy in the Bathurst Chase shopping centre, walked straight behind the counter and held a steak knife to the ribs of a 25-year-old pharmacist who was working there.
It is further alleged he demanded drugs from the safe housed at the rear of the pharmacy.
The female pharmacist was not physically injured in the incident.
Two other people who were in the pharmacy at the time of the robbery were also unharmed.
Police reviewed closed circuit television (CCTV) footage taken from the pharmacy, the Coles supermarket and the shopping centre following the alleged robbery.
Following his arrest Trindall was charged with robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon (strictly indictable) and larceny.
He was refused bail by police and has remained in custody since.
He initially appeared before magistrate Michael Allen in March where he made no application for bail on that occasion and was formally refused bail by Mr Allen.
Following last week's mention, the matter was adjourned until July 9, 2018 for replies.
