A RIGHT-WING extremist group has boasted online of its return to Bathurst to promote its cause.

Antipodean Resistance, which goes by the motto “white revolution is the only solution”, first hit the headlines in January when a number of the group’s posters were plastered around the Bathurst campus of Charles Sturt University.

At the time, CSU condemned the posters, saying that “(CSU) will not tolerate such offensive material”.

Now the Nazi Youth group has returned the city, leaving behind more posters and the spraypainted tag “AR-BX” (Antipodean Resistance, Bathurst).

The visit has not gone unnoticed, with resident Vanessa Comiskey angered enough to pen a letter to the Western Advocatedenouncing the group’s message.

“I wanted to write to you so that I could tell the people who are tarnishing our town with hate and intolerance that they do not represent me, nor do they represent my family or my friends or the many great people we do have here in Bathurst,” Ms Comiskey wrote.

“In fact, I would like to make it known that the views of these people, who are the minority, who do go around spouting hatred, are far from welcome in a town like Bathurst.”

On its website, Antipodean Resistance has provided an update for supporters on its “activists efforts” in Bathurst.

“In the evening we struck, putting up our posters in and around local schools, parks, and shops,” the website states.

“Our activity in Bathurst has been consistent over the months with remnants of old posters all over. Seems there are too many for the local antifa and other lefties to handle. More Kvetching [complaining] was also spotted in Bathurst’s crime watch page.

“Finally to supplement our postering we did a little bit of spray action.”

A representative for Antipodean Resistance has previously told the Western Advocate the group supported a message of white supremacy.

“Our people are being brainwashed by the education system and media to hate themselves, their culture and traditions. This leads to the destruction of community, alienation and hopelessness for our youth,” the spokesperson said.

“We are being replaced by foreign hordes, in the nation that we had made into one of the best countries in the world due to the labour and struggle of our white European people.”
