She was among hundreds of food and wine lovers who jumped aboard one of six tour buses for a four-stop, full-day tour.
Guests were invited to sip, swill and taste their way through Bathurst’s best wineries, restaurants and breweries.
“This is my fourth year, there’s 21 people in my group,” Ms Schembri said.
“It’s the food, the wine, the company and I’ve got a good group of friends. It’s nice to get together and experience the local produce.”
Two Heads Brewing took part in the Wander for the second consecutive year and owner Campbell Hedley said it was a great event to be involved with.
“It’s a great way to showcase the local produce,” he said.
“It’s a great way to get people thinking about Bathurst as a food and wine destination.”
On the menu for entree at Two Heads was a duck roulette with sourdough which was served up with a choice of a Vale Creek Pinot Grigio or a Two Heads Brewing’s Jimmy Mac Golden Ale.
Wander tour leader Caroline Sage said the event was a great way to support local producers.
